|About: I’m a filmmaker and photographer with a passion for visual story telling and international traveling. My current assignment has given me the privilege of traveling around the world to tell the story of volunteers who are making a difference in their communities. As a filmmaker I aspire to capture stories that bring us together, encourage respect, and inspire us all to work towards positive change.
During the summer of 2010 I collaborated with Portland based apparel designers (Midge, Courtney Keene) to capture and edit images for their spring and summer advertising campaigns. Thanks to Courtney Keene and Courtney Leonard for coordinating the models, apparel, and creative energy. A recent promo spot for Midge USA. Shot with a Canon 5dmk [...]
The results of a Canon G12 time-lapse test using an intervalometer. Shot at 5 min intervals over 24 hours. I used manual focus with the LCD off to preserve battery power since no D/C power was available. Because the captured images were full resolution, I was able to split the images into four separate segments [...]
When I was given an assignment to film in Papua New Guinea I could hardly contain my excitement. I heard rumors of the place; it was exotic, remote, and arguably the most unexplored place on earth. The perfect destination for an aspiring filmmaker with a lust for adventure. In the months before the trip I [...]

A short video highlighting some of my experiences in Tanzania. During my short visit I was able to take a charter plane to Mbeya, a 12 hour ride bus to Dar es Salaam, and a Precision Air flight to Mwanza. I was thankful I was able to cover so much ground in such a short [...]
A collection of time-lapses and street footage I shot during a short stay in Tokyo – the most dazzling and beautiful city I’ve had the privilege of visiting. The time-lapses were created using a Canon T2i and intervalometer.
Here’s some custom HD video elements I created to spice up my editing. The particles and lens flares can add a sense of realism, depth, and motion to enhance many shots. Since the effects simulate something that often occurs naturally, they can be used without looking artificial or distracting the audience. And if they’re timed [...]
Because of my involvement with a international NGO I’ve had some exciting opportunities to film people and cultures around with world. A recent trip landed me in Jaipur, India — a city of ancient temples, colorful garments, and smiling people on every street corner. For anybody who loves people, culture, and film, it was a [...]

Four members of the Dancing Rabbit Eco-Village, an intentional community in Missouri, express their motivation for living communally and the importance of developing sustainable lifestyles. The film provides an in depth look into the community as it seeks to understand the spirit of its members and the radical steps they’ve taken to live sustainably. Produced [...]
I’m currently producing short reality film about a punk band called Hotter Than A Crotch. The film explores the complex and often dramatic relationship between “Buck Bin Nasty” and “Gloria Holer” — two eccentric individuals who are getting a divorce while remaining dedicated to their band. Gloria, the lead singer, works overtime as a stripper [...]
